Extended Contracts for Agriculture Teachers: How It All Works

The majority of the Agriculture Teachers in South Carolina are paid by Clemson University for performance of extra duties which results in an extended contract for these teachers. How does this work? What is the process? What are the requirements? All of these questions will be answered by the Clemson University Agricultural Education staff. In addition, in 2020, Clemson is introducing a new online reporting procedure for all agriculture teachers on extended contracts. This process will allow for more access for school administrators to see just what activities the teacher is reporting. A review of this process will be discussed.
