Experience the new activities in our YES StartUp Camp. The camp is an experiential deep dive into creating a microbusiness. In a weeklong experience students study entrepreneurship concepts guiding them to a personalized path to financial freedom. By the end of camp students create a viable business plan. The camp inspires young people and engages them in a real-world entrepreneurial experience. Students create their own summer jobs as the camp culminates in the creation of an actual business based on a useful application of a student’s passion and skills. Just added- We have added a virtual option to the camp, recently tested with a group of high school students at Burke High School. Students unanimously gave the camp 5 stars and said they would highly reccomend it to their friends.

More About YEScarolina
“A man who carries a cat by the tail learns something he can learn in no other way.”                                      ~Mark Twain
Mark Twain provides a perfect metaphor for how we and our students learn best. Though a violent cat scratch is not advised, it illustrates a point.  A student absorbs information most effectively when they are actively involved in the learning.  In fact, a student actively involved in experiential entrepreneurial education is creating a way to shape their own future.   YEScarolina curriculum, training, competitions and camps provide teachers and youth workers effective ways to facilitate those experiences that build hope for future prosperity based on what a student loves.
Youth Entrepreneurship South Carolina, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is the leading organization in South Carolina dedicated to teaching youth the principles of entrepreneurship and free enterprise. Recognizing that South Carolina’s future is dependent upon a vibrant entrepreneurial economy, YEScarolina is preparing today’s youth to be tomorrow’s business owners and business leaders.
YEScarolina has helped thousands of young people from communities statewide build business skills and fuel their entrepreneurial spirit. To date, YEScarolina has trained and certified over 1,000 South Carolina teachers on the subject of entrepreneurship. These educators, in turn, have touched and inspired tens of thousands of young South Carolinians with a thirst for entrepreneurship.
